Terms of Service
These terms explain the rules for using Edaptic. Edaptic is an educational platform for adaptive practice, tutoring, assignments, and instructor analytics.
Using Edaptic
You may use Edaptic only for lawful educational purposes connected to your course, institution, teaching, learning, or platform administration. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account.
- Do not share your password or access tokens.
- Do not attempt to access another user's account, class, course, or data.
- Do not interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass the platform's security controls.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or unrelated to the educational use of the platform.
Educational content and AI assistance
Edaptic may provide AI-generated explanations, tutor messages, quiz feedback, assignment feedback, and instructor-facing summaries. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. It is provided to support learning and teaching, not to replace human judgment.
Instructor review
Formal academic decisions, grade changes, disciplinary action, and other high-impact education decisions should be made by qualified human staff. Students may ask for human review of AI-graded work where the interface or course process provides that option.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as answers, messages, feedback, uploads, and course materials you are authorized to provide. By submitting content, you allow Edaptic to process it as needed to run the service, provide tutoring and feedback, support instructors, maintain security, and improve platform reliability.
Do not upload content unless you have the right to use it in Edaptic.
Privacy and data protection
Use of Edaptic is also governed by the privacy notice, which explains what data is collected, why it is collected, how long it is kept, where it is processed, and how users can exercise their rights.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Edaptic available and reliable, but the service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security updates, provider outages, or operational issues. Features may change as the platform develops, but material changes to legal terms or privacy practices will be communicated through the platform or other appropriate channels.
Suspension or removal
Access may be suspended or removed if an account is used in a way that threatens platform security, violates these terms, violates applicable law, or conflicts with the educational purpose of the service. Where appropriate, we may also remove content that creates safety, legal, privacy, or integrity risks.
